Programiz and United Academy Group Partner to Shape the Future of Early Tech Education in Nepal
Kathmandu, Nepal — [November [03], 2025] —Programiz, Nepal’s leading EdTech company, has partnered with United Academy Group, one of the country’s biggest education institutions, to introduce coding and computer science education to students as early as Grade 5.
Through this collaboration, students at United Academy Group will receive access to Programiz PRO, the premium version of Programiz’s interactive coding platform. This initiative reflects a growing shift in education, where coding is no longer treated as an extracurricular activity or a specialized skill but as a core competency for the decade ahead.
“This partnership isn’t just about teaching kids how to code, it’s about helping them become active builders of technology,” said Punit Jajodia, Co-founder of Programiz. “Even in well-resourced schools, students often lack the platform, mentorship, and structure required to turn their ideas into real projects. We’re excited to see what students create when those barriers are removed.”
Two shared visions are at the core of this partnership. Punit Jajodia, who co-founded Programiz to enable coding in low-resource settings, places a strong emphasis on hands-on education that encourages students to produce rather than merely consume. In the meantime, United Academy Group's Deputy Director, Manasvi Bantawa, is leading the school into a new era by getting students ready for the post-AI world.
“Education must evolve with the times,” said Manasvi Bantawa. “By integrating Programiz PRO into our classrooms, we’re not just teaching students how to code — we’re teaching them how to think creatively, solve problems, and lead in a digital age.”
Although rooted in Nepal, this collaboration reflects a broader global trend: schools are rethinking traditional models and preparing students for a world defined by software, automation, and AI.
